Vogue October 1997) Bios David Elfick and his company Palm Beach Pictures have produced feature films as diverse as the cult surfing hit Crystal Voyager (1972), the musical Starstruck (1982) and the acclaimed Blackrock (1997), based on events surrounding the murder of Leigh Leigh. He also helped in writing and producing the award-winning Newsfront (1978) and was executive producer for Rabbit Proof Fence (2002). John Cundill's early writing credits include the acclaimed Australian mini-series Jackeroo (1984). Although his earliest work is the film The Outcast (1984), he has mainly stuck to writing mini-series and shows for television. His most recent work is the television series Ollie in 2001. Craig Adams (Ken Riddle) has not done much work since Love in Limbo but has been seen in the cult film Tromeo and Juliet (1996) and The Alive Tribe (1997). Aden Young (Barry McJannet) was originally picked up by Bruce Beresford for his Canadian filmed Black Robe (1991). Since Love in Limbo he has been seen in such Australian films as Metal Skin (1994) and Cosi (1996). His most recent work is the character Johann in Serenades in 2001. Russell Crowe, (Arthur Baskin) of course, needs no introduction. With multiple awards under his belt, including an Oscar for Gladiator (2000), Russell has proven his diverse acting range with characters such as Hando from Romper Stomper (1992), Jeff Mitchell in The Sum of Us (1994) and John Nash in A Beautiful Mind (2001). Rhondda Findleton, (Gwen Riddle) has been involved with various projects over the years, both on screen and television. Her most recent work is as the character Jane in The Hard Word (2002) along side Guy Pearce and Rachel Griffiths. Martin Sacks, (Max Wiseman) has become one of the biggest names in Australian television. A year after the release of Love in Limbo Martin picked up the role of Senior Detective Patrick Joseph "P.J." Hasham in the cult series Blue Heelers. Martin's most recent work is as Jimmy Grattan in the mini-series Do or Die (2001). Maya Stange (Ivy Riddle) has found herself in a variety of roles, including Janet from Head On (1998) and as Evelyn Spence from In a Savage Land (1999). Her most recent work is in the independent film XX/XY (2002) and Garage Days (2002). Vincent Ball (Mr Williams) has been involved in Australian film since 1948, where he played a footman in the movie Warning to Wantons (1948). Since then he has been involved in some of Australia's most pivotal films, including Breaker Morant (1980), Phar Lap (1983) and as the Headmaster in The Year my Voice Broke (1987). Of his 70 odd film and television credits include Sirens (1994), Muriel's Wedding (1994) and as the Cardinal in The Man Who Sued God (2001). His most recent work is as Chief Justice Napier in the up-and-coming Black and White (2002). Bill Young (Uncle Herbert) would best known for his roles in Australian television, either as Stan, Betty's boyfriend in the 80's series Hey Dad, or as the original Chief Inspector from the television series Water Rats (1996). He has, however, been seen doing other things, for example he was the Lieutenant in the beginning of The Matrix (1999) who sends his men after Trinity for the first fight sequence and as Detective Downie in Chopper (2000).
